This True TRCB-110-HC refrigerated chef base has a durable top that can support 2,000 pounds and is designed with a marine edge that keeps spills contained and off the floor, preventing messes. To keep ingredients properly refrigerated, the chef base has six drawers, each capable of holding two full-size food pans for a total of 12 food pans stored in the unit at once. These drawers can also accommodate several smaller food pans in different configurations if the food pans are 4 inches deep.

To maintain a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the self-contained refrigeration unit features a forced-air system and a capillary tube, which uses R290 refrigerant.
