The Manitowoc Ice RNF-1100A-261 ice machine uses R404A refrigerant to remove heat and create ice. In one day, this unit can produce 1,078 pounds of nugget ice, which is chewable and takes on the flavor of its beverage. Its motor is cooled with air, and the self-contained refrigeration system has all the components built together. Constructed of stainless steel, this unit is scratch and dent resistant.

The unit's D-970 bin connects to the ice machine head with a K-00470 adapter kit. It has a storage capacity of 882 pounds. Cold air is retained since the door is foam insulated, and a polyurethane liner maintains sanitation. A knuckle and thumb guard on the scoop protects against contamination, and the scoop holds 5.3 pounds of ice. Built-in side grips on the door enable employees to easily lift the door open with a single hand, and a latch keeps the door open while they scoop.
