The Manitowoc Ice RFF-1220C-261/RCUF1200-261/D970 QuietQube® ice machine head produces flake ice—an ice type typically used for food displays because it keeps product cold without bruising or damaging it. Flake ice is also used in healthcare operations since its small size reduces choking hazards. In 24 hours, this unit can produce as much as 1,092 pounds with ideal ambient conditions. With a slim profile and lightweight design, this ice maker fits in compact spaces and is simple to install.

This unit is designed to be remotely cooled with a remote condensing unit (sold separately), enabling operators to install the ice maker inside while the condenser runs in a separate location; this dissipates heat and noise away from the ice machine to improve the conditions surrounding it.

The Manitowoc Ice D970 ice bin is included with this RFF-1220C ice maker for ice storage after harvesting. It accommodates 882 pounds and has a polyurethane interior liner that simplifies cleaning and enhances ice clarity. The bin door is angled to improve product access, and it stays in the open position for convenient scooping.
