The Manitowoc IYT-0620A-161/D-320 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with bin uses an acoustical probe to measure the thickness of ice before it is released from the evaporator plate. This unit can produce 575 pounds of ice every 24 hours. Production can be adjusted based on the time of day or volume in the bin. Its bin can hold 264 pounds of ice. Certain components have an antimicrobial agent built in to slow scale growth. Its control panel uses touch icons to simplify use.

An ice scoop comes in the bin, and it has knuckle guards to prevent hands from contacting ice. A holder keeps the scoop out of the ice to reduce the risk of contamination. The scoop holds 5.3 pounds of ice. Slides on the door ease opening, and a latch keeps the door open for scooping. The Manitowoc IYT-0620A-161/D-320 ice maker with bin has a foam-insulated door to prevent ice from melting quickly.
