In 24 hours, the Manitowoc Ice IDT-1200A/D-570 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with bin can produce 1,196 pounds of full-cube ice. Each cube measures 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch and melts slowly, but since it is so large, it will not cool liquids as quickly as smaller ice types.An acoustical probe measures ice thickness, monitoring consistency between cycles. Some interior components are removable to facilitate cleaning, and integral parts are made with an antimicrobial agent that slows bacteria growth.

The Manitowoc Ice IDT-1200A/D-570 ice machine with bin has a 532-pound storage capacity. Its bin liner is made of polyurethane, while its exterior is constructed of stainless steel with a clear coating that resists corrosion. Foam insulation in the bin door prevents ice from melting quickly. Grips in the door’s center, right side, and left side enable opening from any angle. An ice scoop with a 5.3-pound capacity and guards that eliminate contact between hands and ice is included.
