The Manitowoc Ice IDT0900A/D970 Indigo NXT™ full-cube ice maker can be programmed to turn off at certain times and make a set amount of ice on a touchscreen display. Ice cube thickness is regulated using an acoustic ice sensing probe, and for optimized scooping, the insulated door of the bin stays open and is angled at 53 degrees. For comfort, the scoop includes a knuckle and thumb guard to fit in the user's hand, and a holder enables the scoop to be stored safely.

Both the bin and head of the Manitowoc Ice IDT0900A/D970 ice machine have a DuraTech™ construction to resist smudges and fingerprints, creating an attractive unit. This ice maker provides preventive maintenance and diagnostics 24 hours per day for constant operation. To streamline cleaning, the distribution tube, curtain, sensing probes, and water trough are removable for attention and care.
