The Manitowoc Ice IDT0620A/D420 Indigo NXT™ ice maker and bin combo makes dice ice. These cubes measure 7⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch, and to ensure they are the correct size, a probe checks their thickness. They work great for bagged ice or for cooling drinks, and because they melt more slowly than other ice types, they water down beverages less.

To help keep ice tasting pure, this Manitowoc Ice IDT0620A ice machine features antimicrobial-protected components in its food zone. This area is constantly in contact with water, so it contains several removable parts that enable staff members to thoroughly clean out bacteria and mold. In the Manitowoc Ice D420 ice bin, ice is saved until it is needed. The polyethylene liner is sanitary and simple to clean, and to remove moisture from the interior, a recessed drain is built in. An included holder provides a safe place for the ice scoop, holding it out of the ice to prevent contamination. Additionally, the scoop has guards over the handle so germs from the user’s hands do not taint the ice.
