The Manitowoc Ice IDT0420A/D420 ice machine and bin combo can store 383 pounds of dice ice. Although not as large as regular dice or gourmet cubes, this type still melts relatively slowly and works great for cooling sodas, cocktails, and other beverages. Ice is accessible through the cammed bin door, which latches open for scooping. The ice scoop can hold 5.3 pounds of ice at a time, and its retaining lip prevents ice from falling to the floor. Finger and knuckle guards prevent users' hands from accidentally contaminating the ice, and as an additional preventative measure, a built-in holder keeps the scoop handle out of the bin.
