Built with a 1,000-lb. weight capacity, the Beverage-Air WTRCS52HC-60 60-inch chef base is designed to support countertop cooking equipment while providing refrigerated storage underneath. Its 60-inch extended stainless steel top includes a marine edge to help contain spills, eliminating the need for a heat shield when installed according to manufacturer clearance requirements. This one-section base holds two drawers, each capable of accommodating two full-size, 6-inch-deep pans (not included), and includes self-closing functionality with magnetic gaskets to support a tight seal.

The Beverage-Air WTRCS52HC-60 chef base features a side-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system powered by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a 1⁄3 HP compressor. Inside, the unit is lined with corrosion-resistant aluminum and offers 9.58 cubic feet of cold storage, maintaining temperatures between 36 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Full electronic controls, adaptive defrost, and hot gas condensate evaporation reduce maintenance, while the unit’s mobility is enhanced by 3-inch casters—two with brakes—for positioning flexibility in high-volume prep areas.
